Barbra Streisand - The Concerts DVD Set remained at the Number One position on the UK DVD Music Charts today. The set, which was released on March 16th 2009 went straight to Number One in week one, and has stayed there for a 2nd week.
The special DVD set contains Barbra's record breaking 2006 Concert Show, recorded in Fort Lauderdale, and also Barbra's 1994 Anaheim Show, the closing night of her 1994 US Tour -- her first tour in 27 years. Putting It Together - The Making Of The Broadway Album is also included... a rare behind the scenes look at the making of her 1985 album.The set will be released in the US at a later date.

Barbra To Star In Meet The Little Fockers?
Let's put this under 'rumor' for now...
The entire starring cast of Meet The Fockers will regroup for a sequel, Little Fockers , set to begin production in July, according to FoxNews.com entertainment columnist Roger Friedman. Friedman, who cited no sources, said that Blythe Danner, Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman, Teri Polo, Ben Stiller, Barbra Streisand, and Owen Wilson had all been lined up to play their original roles. However, Peter Segal is expected to replace Jay Roach, who is working on another film, as director. Friedman observed "The title suggests more than one baby for Stiller and Polo's characters. So get ready possibly for twins, which also means DeNiro and Hoffman may have extra screen time as warring grandfathers." -- Various online news sites.

Barbra Streisand -- The Concerts DVD Set, which was released last Monday (16 March) in the UK has debuted at Number One on the UK DVD Music Charts, knocking 'Stevie Wonder - Live At Last' from the Top Spot.The DVD set will be released in the US / Canada at a later date.

Streisand - The Concerts DVD Set (US / Canada).
There seems to be some confusion regarding the US release of the 2006 Concert DVD (along with 1994 Anaheim and 1985 Putting It Together).
This set has not been announced in the US / Canada -- and there is currently NO release date. Many of you pre-ordered using a link on Amazon.com (which linked to the Sony version of the DVD set). Sony are no longer releasing the DVD, which is why the page was removed from Amazon. (I'd recommend you currently ignore any tentative release dates that are on Amazon as these keep changing).
So far, the DVD set has only been released in Europe (and shot straight to Number One on the UK DVD Chart). It looks like the DVD will be released in the USA / Canada in May, but nothing has been confirmed.
As soon as a confirmed date has been set for USA / Canada -- I will email you all -- along with a pre-order link.

BarbraNews has learned that BARBRA STREISAND - The Concerts DVD Box Set is currently
Number One on the UK Midweek Chart Music DVD Chart* in the UK.
This special DVD set was released on Monday (16th March) in the UK.
Let's hope the DVD stays at the top for the official chart on Sunday. BarbraNews will update you.
