Thank you for voicing your strong opposition to the war. Happy New Year. At the same time as this year ends, I'll still be playing the CD of your New Year's Eve concert of 2000. As you said then, everything that happens has a ripple effect. "At the same time" we celebrate, so many people mourn due to this unjust war. Your voice, both in song and in your writings, continues to inspire me. You shined with hope, love and strength in that concert of 2000, and the world so needs you now, more than ever. Love, Sharon

ALL I have to say is, Barbranews.com is THE only website a fan needs to have, to get all the up to date information on Barbra's career, and meet other awesome Barbra fans on the Forum. The creator of the website Craig Hall, is a genious, and deserves major credit. If it wasn't for this site, I would have been late on the knowledge of Barbra's latest tour, and all the info. on DVD/CD releases as well as everything else Barbra.
My favorite part is the forum. It's my first experience with a forum and I must say it is quite addictive. It's just amazing being able to meet and converse with fellow Barbra fans, and discuss everything Barbra as well as regular everyday topics.
The new look of the website looks absolutely fresh, and fabulous. Keep coming back, becuase there's always something new to look forward too! :)

Happy New Year to you and Hubby! My 1st concert ever - Oct. 13th in D.C. You left me mesmerized. It was my 63rd Birthday gift and one I WILL ALWAYS remember. I left the concert with your warm feelings and voice of happiness attached to my heart. You make all of us feel so good inside. The media is damaging, so we who know better, just don't pay attention to them. I hope you will tour again; my first dream came true, so I am sure a second one can also. Thank you for the happy memories - I listen to your CD's every day and can't wait for the 2006 Concert CD and DVD to come out.

Hello from Geneva, Switzerland. I was at the MSG "Shut The F** Up" concert, amazing, better than Vegas (where I also was). Thanxx to your fantastic site, I've been able to follow Barbra on her tour, thank you, it was like living again every day this special night. I wrote to Barbra for the fantastic times she's given me throughout her career and how she's influenced my life, and she was kind enough to send me a lovely picture. What an amazing and gracious lady she is, can't believe all the crap that's being written about her. Craig, you are doing a fantastic job, and if Barbra ever reads this, we, in Europe, are holding our breath for her European tour so she'd better make up her mind quickly or we'll be millions to suffocate, and then she'll have to really do a new fundraiser to get us all oxygen tanks ! lots of love

singer in the world. I have been a fan since l964. I was unable to attend her concert, but have followed her with this site, thank you very much for doing a fantastic job.

I've been following the design changes of your site since the first days of it's cyberspace life. And this one is by far the best. It's so well-organised and easy to read.
And since it's a blog-styled page I assume it's less work for you to add news.
You're doing a great job and a favour to so many of us, Barbra fans, by keeping us informed about all things Barbra! I'm happy for all the insider connections that you have in Barbra's camp. And hopefully, when (not IF) she comes to UK you'll get a chance to meet her!

I have been a fan since for about 35 years, since I was about 7. Barbra Streisand has an amazingly unique voice. She gives life to the songs she sings. It is always a delight to listen to anything Ms Streisand sings. Added to her incredible voice is the fact that she is a brilliant actress who doesn't act often enough. Directorial skills too. How talented is this lady!! If there is a chink in the Streisand armour then it would have to be that I feel she has lost touch with 'the ordinary, everyday person'. Regardless of how much of a gift or talent one has, you need an audience to listen, to attend concerts, to watch the films and to buy the dvd's and the cd's. It is fair to say - without the fans, how can you become so famous and so wealthy? Ms Streisand has fans aplenty, that goes without saying, but her vast charges for concert tickets price her out of the range of many of her ordinary everyday fans. That is not only unfair its also rude. People who support her and buy her music and films are left in the cold. It's like "thanks for spending your hard-earned money on me, but although I am having a concert you won't be able to afford to come. I am worth so much you see that I can charge daft prices and still sell-out!" There are many 'stars' in this world who have concerts and do not charge phenominal amounts of money and still sell out year after performing year. Its about knowing your fans, appreciating them and saying thank you with a concert that they can attend and that won't break the bank. Oh I know so many of you are going to disagree with my comments here, but I feel strongly about this. Ms Streisand shows so little respect for her fans in this matter. Thanks for reading anyway. I wonder I Barbra is planing to publish any comment on Ahmadinejad's visit to the USA. As a world citizen, an Israeli citizen and finally as a jew, I feel really offended by his statements and the fact that many american people may be listening to him and getting a very wrong impression of the truth.

You stand for the truth and that's the kind of person this world needs is some one who cares about what's happeneing and the things to come.
